The DJK Lions are the youth handball teams of DJK TuRa 05 Dümpten and DJK Styrum 06 here in Mülheim. For me this is not a client project like any other: I support the club as a sponsor and look after the website as a volunteer.
More than a logo on a shirt
For us, sponsorship means shirts for the teams and advertising in the sports hall – and not just for the youth. I have also kitted out the women's and men's teams of TuRa 05 Dümpten with full shirt sets and put up hall banners. So that it looks good for all sponsors, they also get their place on the website – clean, without banner chaos.
A website for the whole club
- team pages, news and match reports
- live statistics and fixtures
- a kids area with colouring pages, puzzles and the Lions illustrations
- GDPR-compliant, so no volunteer has to worry about legal warnings
Why I do it
Because kids need a place where they find sport, friends and team spirit. And because a good website makes a difference in volunteer work too.
