2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Serverprofis GmbH, Otto-Lilienthal-Ring 34–36, 85622 Feldkirchen, Germany, on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
With every visit, the server stores technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. This serves the secure and stable operation of the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after a short time.
3. No cookies
This website sets no cookies for visitors and stores nothing on your device – which is why there is no cookie banner. Even the language choice only lives in the address (?lang=en). Only the password-protected admin area uses a technically necessary session cookie, which affects nobody but me as the operator.
4. Analytics with Matomo
To understand which content gets read, I use Matomo – on my own server (analytics.liesener.de), not with a third-party provider. Matomo runs without cookies and without fingerprinting; IP addresses are stored shortened, so no conclusions can be drawn about you as a person. The data never leaves my server.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in privacy-friendly statistics (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If your browser sends "Do Not Track", your visit is not recorded at all.
5. Contact form and email
When you write to me via the form or by email, I process your details (name, email address, optionally your phone number and your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (answering general enquiries).
The request is stored on the server and forwarded to me by email. I delete it once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. External links
On the project pages I link to my clients' websites. Only when you click such a link do you leave this website; the privacy policy of the respective provider applies there.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. A short message to sascha@liesener.de is enough.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
8. Encryption
The connection to this website is encrypted via TLS. You can tell by the padlock icon and "https://" in the address bar.
